Key content includes virtual nursing evolution, care models, the role of the NPD practitioner, throughputs of the NPD Practice Model with a focus on orientation and onboarding, competency management, and education, regulatory considerations and guidance for NPD department leaders. The course includes an accompanying guide with standard operating procedures, an orientation checklist and competency templates, and best-practice for effective virtual nurse professional development. The guide is available as a resource to download, print and incorporate into your practice.
