Description: This 12-module asynchronous self-paced course provides the novice NPD practitioner with an overview of the roles and responsibilities of the Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards required for NPD practice. Gain foundational knowledge to support successful transition into NPD practice, including educational design, leadership, change management, orientation, and so much more.
Intended Audience: RNs: Novice NPD practitioners, nurse educators, nurse planners, facilitators of continuing professional development
Outcome: 100% of participants will know the roles and responsibilities of the NPD scope and standards of practice as evidenced by a passing score of 80% on each module's designated post-test.
Continuing Education: Association for Nursing Professional Development is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
