2026 ANPD/Lippincott Live Webinar: TLDR: Making Microlearning Actually Work in NPD Practice
Presented by: Scott Brickner, MSN, RN, CCRN
Description: TLDR – “Too long, didn’t read.” NPD practitioners continuously seek to engage learners in a time of increased workloads and decreased attention spans. Microlearning is everywhere — but "short" isn't a strategy, and not every gap is a microlearning candidate. This session moves past format to the decision: when microlearning fits, when it doesn't, and how to build and deploy it well. Participants leave with an evidence-based decision framework, design principles, and engagement strategies.
Target Audience: The target audience includes NPD practitioners and specialists, NPD nurse leaders, professional development associates, and members of NPD teams. It also includes nursing education instructors and faculty, nurses who facilitate education for healthcare professionals, and nurse leaders, managers, and executives.
Outcome: 80% of participants will report that this session provides information that increases their knowledge in deciding when and how to use microlearning in their NPD role.
Continuing Education: Association for Nursing Professional Development is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
