2026 ANPD/Lippincott Live Webinar: Healthcare in a Changing Climate: The NPD Role

Description: As climate change increasingly impacts patient outcomes, health care operations, and community health, Nursing Professional Development (NPD) practitioners are well-positioned to prepare the workforce for emerging challenges. This session explores the intersection of climate and health through the lens of the ANPD Scope and Standards, highlighting opportunities for NPD practitioners to advance environmental stewardship, systems thinking, and evidence-informed practice.

Outcome: 80% of participants will report that this session increased their knowledge of strategies for incorporating climate and environmental sustainability into NPD practice.  

Continuing Education: Association for Nursing Professional Development is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
